Today was announced by the conductor-free :-) - and this day off was spent by me in part to Taipei Main Station (a locker for my baggage to be found - even not so simple!) and partly in the magnificent National Palace Museum. This museum is an art gallery and museum in Taipei, and houses the largest collection of Chinese art of truly invaluable. 5000 years of history of China is shown here, and the gathering in Taipei is even larger than in the Forbidden City in Beijing! Most of these items have been collected in the past of China's ancient emperors.
Then I was back on tour: Tomorrow we will continue to rehearse in Tainan, so it was today announced high-speed rail to the south.
It's unbelievable the way, how fast a man accustomed to anything - it felt even as a matter of fact all even though I'm only a good week here and here on Sunday, the pure madness going on! Today I was way on the road with Eric, a student from Darmstadt, doing an internship in Taipei and stayed in the same hotel. And if we as Europeans already do not speak Chinese, we have at least one prior to the Asians, if you lose each other in a huge number of people (like at a train station) it takes usually not long - because there are not very many people, the larger than 1.60 are! ...
