Rubber Ducky Baby Shower Saying

friendly

After a wonderful week 3XS holiday in Thailand (3XS: sun-sea-beach !...) I am now back at the airport in Bangkok. Soon it goes back to Taipei - visits with friends! - And Saturday, then back home.

What impressed me most in Thailand, Asia is the incredible friendliness. magic on every face, every time and in any context, all Thai produce an incredibly beautiful smile - and the Thai to help a down to the extreme! In contrast to the tourists on the plane to Bangkok last night, at least two thirds of which had hung on the face of half past ten ... Why do we do we humans sometimes so difficult, one wonders at such moments ...

Directions to the Airport Hotel here in Bangkok, incidentally, was very interesting. Two most 14-year-old boy, Strack in the package are available, with city hall green (for the Hagen inti ...) calling card outside one of the gates in the airport, where a newly arrived tourist also can not even have the slightest hope, as ever by a be allowed 13-year-old civil servant to ... Meanwhile, you're bombarded by really * all * pages of "Where are you going sir?" "Taxi sir?" And all the waiting taxi drivers Wehemenz plunge with a tiger on your potential customers! ... But I did it, and yet 20 € a hotel without Kackerlacken with a decent bed and airport transportation in a van Luxen - because you can not really complain!

Here some more photos of the ballet rehearsals and performances in Taiwan!

A Good Idea For A Poster About Fire Preventions

passion ...

Last night was the last performance in Shingzu, somewhere in the Taiwan Province ... It was an old-fashioned, excessive cinema audience, but had a nice atmosphere. Only ... it looked like the cleaning service in alsob Shingzu been on strike a few years ... All dancers had maybe 4 levels, the day room for the whole orchestra was about as big as 5 Toiletträume - and especially toilets, we had like to have a bit more - a toilet for about 100 men is not exactly abundant, especially when even The toilet paper missing ... After the first discovery in the orchestra pit, which I have not achieved the way without risking his life (how to get there really? So, large cargo elevator down - through a library where children can be painted straight on - then by a kind of dusty old warehouse - and then a very steep staircase so almost 10 meters UP-climb), I have the six () Orchestra waiting (! Sorry, Carlos, Henry and Marcus ...) first hired a cleaning Lappe overtake and wipe the walls of the trench depth ...! trained

While the others (I do not, do not worry / hope ...!) I went with a friend of Allen in the oppressive heat of Shinzu, where after three minutes we both Switzerland on the forehead ran. So what makes you dan? ... Then sinned! We are both taken refuge in a McDonald's ... And since we have ventured to the Ice-coffee! Because it is really very harig in this performance again, after a half weeks' break, play the Chimei Philharmonic Orchestra would, and this piece for the first violins, our leader Roger, the group had just (!) Ordered an hour earlier. Of course, no ordinary sample space was available, so the whole group ended up in a sort of lecture room with fixed seating. And then one can not of course really "musical" sit, so you just stand still during the test! ... After half an hour after I saw a look were all diligently - and the leader stood on a chair and directed!

have here all the way, the great, on the desks aufklipbare light for the orchestra musicians - Yamaha "mighty bright." I had never seen before, but worked fine, instead of all the usual cables and cords in the orchestra pit! And was not expensive! Even the conductor got one!

The performance was terrific - a really brilliant conclusion. All have really been the last, and what came out of the orchestra was almost unbelievable. After my brief announcement in the scan test that "the panel today is sitting very open, and all the dynamics have to be cut in half" the whole evening was an energetic but wonderful differentiated metal sound that never mezzo forte, and thus the orchestra thundered. The strings have the piece really "lived" with mad passion, and the woodwind solos were so intimate and beautiful. And while the whole idea I had such a tremendous amount of eye contact - it was fantastic! At the end of the performance stomped and clapped in front of the orchestra of great joy, and we were then standing ovations - for Taiwan a sensation!

Finally had to return many signatures are distributed, and would in turn perpetuate some Teenys the conductor digital ... I also got some nice gifts from the dancers - Chinese tea, wonderful Cake, and a great "Happiness chain." And I was very touched.

It's funny how fast you are (or I) feel connected with passionate and enthusiastic people. From the orchestral musicians and the dancers all the time so come over a lot of energy, which I have already packed a lot. Also the choreographer Allen has provided me with his tough but honest, consistent and loving way, and his incredible passion and Zieleinforderung impressed mad. I am very grateful to all those people I have met and got to work with you - it was a terrific experience. After we all returned shortly after twelve were in Taipei, and had passed us in detail, I could not sleep of course not, and I have sent several emails. In just the first symphony concert Hagen ran under my successor, Florian Ludwig, and thought I was with him and my former orchestral colleagues.

way, I am now taking a good week "blog break" - I will fly to Thailand tonight, and serve a week without phone or computer. The end of August I go back to Taipei, and I am from the first of September and is ready for a new European adventure! There is much the same in September: Open air concert in Duisburg Sergey Nakariakov and Geert Chatrou, then in Bochum the complete Ma Vlast and an appearance at the international autumn days in Iserlohn Ralph Manno, Het Gelders Orkest, and then with Gavriel Lipkind and 5 Dvorak. But I am very excited!

Pvc Pipe Freeze Point

Good style ...

Just got back from a visit to the Fine Art Museum. This museum is eingebeddet in a kind of "garden art" and was the first museum of modern art in Taiwan - it has an extensive collection, more than 3,000 works of art! Most paintings are made by artists from Taiwan after 1940. In the first floor there was a survey of French art and architecture from the science fiction ketzten century. On the second floor there was paintings of the "most beautiful places on the island of Taiwan. "And that was incredibly beautiful!

On the third floor there was an insanely great exhibition of 137 works of Taiwanese painter JC Kuo (and I must admit, I had never heard of! ... ). In the Taiwanese styles of painting, he has a real own very clear language. Sometimes very shocking and sometimes very funny. He works a lot with alienation of faces and bodies, like the pure market of small, funny elements in an otherwise very full and very . serious painting is all of course not new, but this style is still very personal, and I particularly liked Below is a picture of him. "God speed you"

.
was last night the way, our first in the Taipei Metropolitan Hall, with TV recording and DVD recording. And it was terrific! Wildly cheering audiences, orchestras has fought very bravely, and our ballet soloists were outstanding! There were many important people, including the chancellor of Taiwan and the Culture Minister. And everyone loved it!

Just got back to my hotel room, and will lay me down for an hour like a bit of force to refuel. The walk around the city with the heat and humidity is quite difficult - and tonight we go again! Morning, the third performance in Taipei, and on Monday we will have - thank God - finally a day off!

Restoring Vinyl And Chrome Chairs

full ...

have in recent days, I go a little further into the Taiwanese society ... The day before yesterday searched an electronics store and found the Taipei Main Station. At last I now have a Skype microphone. Although the head of Taiwan many times smaller than me, at least that I noticed when unpacking in the hotel! ...

After the dress rehearsal yesterday I was with Daniel, and Peter Allen to the famous Shilin night market. On this night markets you can buy cheap goods, snacks and simple jewelry for an absolutely ridiculous price. It really is incredibly crowded there - a lot of people mad - and from all sides get vivid impressions and will be encouraged to buy something.

The funniest is above all the sellers who are in the middle of the road with your stand, this is officially prohibited, and anscheint also considered a high penalty, so there is a ausgeklüngeltes warning system that indicates clearly if the police in arrival. So I was alive yesterday in negotiations with a seller who is suddenly packed up in Michael Phelps-speed everything, about myself, and rapidly disappeared in a side street. Two minutes later I was then taken away by a girl and out to the seller - it would not shame the deal to have come about!

The allerlustigste was then where we were four of us, at 23.45 in a clothes shop, and have all left at 0.15 with a perfect costume and shorter pants made for a third (!) Original price of the store! Furthermore, we have eaten

yesterday Hotpot. I already knew Rufet of the family, but I had never done it before in a restaurant. The hotpot is a kind of Chinese fondue with boiling water. Chinese fondue consists of vegetables and meat or fish that is cooked in a fund in the fondue pot and then dipped in soy sauce. Extremely nutritious and extremely tasty!

remains still left to tell that I 'm very sad about our lost to Holland baseball game against the Taiwanese. 5-0 ... So there http://www.ihr-seid-nicht-lange-dabei.de/ !

And tonight premiere in Taipei with the Taiwan TV! ...

Bottomless Women Stinky

elevator ...

I just came back from a delicious meal (such as may be otherwise ...) and a great visit to Taipei 101 Taipei 101 is one of the highest skyscraper in the world (if one does not involve antennas or masts), and was proclaimed by Newsweek Magazine in 2006 as one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World". And it actually is! It is 509 meters high, has (of course) 101 floors. In the lower floors of shops are found, mostly very exclusive. You can be up to the 89th Floor, go with one of the fastest elevators in the world in 37 seconds we were on top - and that means we about 60 Km / St. are gone! Today, even the roof was open, 91st Floor opened, and from here you had a beautiful view over Taipei unknown, the 3 million-inhabitant metropolis where we premiere on Friday. So - I'm seriously impressed ...!

This afternoon, the first-stage orchestra rehearsal in Taipei Cultural Centre was on the program. The trench was not deep, but very wide. As all these musicians (almost 60) dare total expected problems are is a mystery to me without a grumble ... After all the musicians were sitting, and I was at the desk, the trench was first powered up a meter. Percussion and harp here in a strange cubbyhole ... There was considerable interaction problems in the beginning, mainly because of the large distance between the one and the other side of the ditch, but we got after the break with a fairly consistent samples but wonderfully under control.

The sample was indeed going on at 14.00 and at 14.05 then the roofing felt overcome the theater that the orchestra alone would not determine this piece. She then began simply clueless in fortissimo to play along with us ...! This situation I am not so unknown, and the Hagen musicians who know me can probably already get an idea of the then next quarter hour. After first no one thought to be responsible for this (...), Allen went quickly to the director of the theater, and after 10 minutes we were able to pursue our undisturbed sample.
only occasionally interrupted by a short bell, if possible in a general pause: this ring we just wanted to say that the elevator has returned to stage level!

Yesterday was the premiere of "Dame aux camélias" - and it was a huge success! The orchestra played excellently, and the dancers danced very concentrated! The large hall was almost full (1500 people!) And at the end there was huge applause for all, especially for Nicola, Michan, and Alexander, our three soloists. Of course, for Allen, our choreographer - and not least for the great Chimei Philharmonic Orchestra!

Previously, there was some stress - the first flute was the night before had fallen hard, but it played quite well despite pain. In general a fantastic woodwind in the orchestra!
After the evening performance all were then invited by Allen (Wortspielung. ..) in a great restaurant, where a huge buffet was waiting for us. In the very comfortable night party (sing Taiwanese beer, orchestra members who think karaoke to have, etc. ..) I have I think found what many Taiwanese girls, the highlight of the year: on the photo with a conductor - honestly, have at least 50 times I posed ... :-)

On the day of the premiere, I had quickly made a bit of sightseeing, I was in fact not yet really come to - that is, temple after temple after temple in the burning sun ... But beautiful, even a castle found the original in 1653 been built by the Dutch, is "The Chic Khan tower. But even here, the Dutch could not keep state (the times have changed not really www.your-are-not-long-dabei.de ) ... :-)

Today was the second performance, brutally simple clock at 15.00 - and that was a bit harder ... While it was all OK, but Allen said that I was relatively slow at the side with my tempo, and on the part of the ballet were still some bumps. But still it was again a huge success and we have to do this week, three BOs to everything even more beautiful. As of tomorrow, namely re-tried in Taipei, this time with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra. The dancers are free, but I'll continue tomorrow, the orchestra einwidmen in the secrets of the Verdi game. Friday there will premiere at the Cultural Center in Taipei, with DVD and TV recording. Do I perhaps have a haircut before. Maybe with "Happy Ending ?"...

Funny Anniversary Toasts

Some days ... Intensive Chi Mei

There are days that seem normal to begin. Man gets up, goes into the shower, brushes his teeth, goes to breakfast, everything as always. And sometimes happens in just a day like a craze for the other.

After today my "domestic affairs" did a little (do laundry, clean up case etc.) I'm so down about the Mittaguhr in the taxi to the theater. And what happened: for some reason, my Dutch reported mailbox, and I will take my both phones from their pockets. I check and put it back. I thought at least.

put in the theater I realized then that my mobile phone with Taiwanese missing SIM card. Since I was almost sure that I had taken it, I get something in the concern. I may have forgotten it in the taxi? Well, no time to think, of course - to start the assay, the press is here, orchestra sits ready, so go ...

'll Just before rehearsal I then Allen "hijacked" the press. As two giant cameras on me, babbling a Taiwanese Harald Schmidt something to himself, and I will answer ????...... Can pigs fly ????.... One can already imagine how it looked! ... The same spectacle was repeated then in the break, where I'm dripping with sweat to the skin, the Taiwanese television tells of a little horse with a lot of "Foe Young Hai" and "Babi Pangang. All this accompanied by the sounds of our wonderful violins that tried under the direction of Roger, our brilliant and tireless leader, the notorious Forza passages to create something positive.

really after a satisfactory rehearsal we go back to the hotel. And I wonder sometimes gently in the hotel, my taxi back if they might find even more, because I probably have since lost my phone. Some wondered and compassionate eyes towards me come ... There are 800 taxis in Tainan, all with the same cheese-yellow color ... Although funnily enough I do not lose the courage, the situation is still relatively anscheint hopeless.

Since today was no exception, even dinner invitation to the program, I decide alone on the way to go in search of a good meal. A taxi takes me to the street where I ate a few days already very good vegetarian times have. However, I would like to try something different this time, and a nice establishment attracts me. There are very many great dishes on the table, so here I'll refresh myself probably can! The only problem: no english. AT ALL!

but not mourned. After all, it was clear that it will not without at least a little bit of English work, suddenly all (really all!) Lewis on a young student. He studies it, he speaks (only) English, well then he can help the Europeans with his order ... And after my order of rice, vegetables and tofu then in almost ten (!) Minutes "already" been resolved, I will of Lewis and his family cordially invited to come to the table. Eating is a social event in Taiwan, and Taiwan is probably completely incomprehensible if you go to eat alone!

And what I experienced at the table is incredible. I get an unknown delicious serving of the most exotic vegetables with wonderful fried rice, and are supplied by the family of soup and tea. So hospitable and so carefully, I have seen this from totally unknown people absolutely never in my life. With hands and feet we talk about everything, we laugh a lot, by Lonely Planet, I get great instructions for the sights that I would like to visit tomorrow, and most of all radiates to me: real, honest-meaning warmth of a family who is pleased to be able to help a complete stranger Europeans.

The coronation was then that the brother of Lewis, I just brought back to the hotel, and that was the bill of course not raise :-). So what ever experienced in Europe? ...

Next to return to hotel, if I am accompanied by the whole family to the door, I expect again a surprise. A silver Nokia and two pairs of laughing eyes ...

Frostbite Windburn On Cheeks What To Do

Valentin

straight back at the hotel - the whole company was invited to this evening in a German restaurant Tainan ... It hung so a German flag on the wall, there were German pictures, German beer (!), And otherwise mostly German food (sausages, sauerkraut, etc.). Today we were guests of the manager of our hotel where we are accommodated since the beginning of the week. Was funny to the center of the world to be found as good German food!

Yesterday was the whole company, including the section leader and principal players of the orchestra, already invited - this time from the orchestra director! There was plenty of Cantonese food - fish, vegetables, meat, in all shapes and sizes!

Strangely, you eat here because of the chopsticks so slowly that you are tired of feeling, but not much has been eaten! ... At least I have already dropped! ... (Although this now no one believes !...)

The last two days were very intense and exhausting. We have tried in two stage rehearsals all zusammenzubasteln, and I must say that Allen, the choreographer, and I have the main thing effectiveness price is more than deserved! But then the ballet is also great: 30 people dancing, body and soul, the very original and expressive choreography of all, are great especially the four soloists! After we have received for 60 musicians in the rather small gap (the Taiwanese industrial safety was thank God not present, and the orchestra board simply has not "really spy "...), we had two great specimens have been great fun! The orchestra is very good, is still better, and is very committed to the cause! Tomorrow is dress rehearsal, with the press there, so that they can already write for Saturday. Otherwise, the performances on Saturday and Sunday have already sold, each with over 1000 tickets in advance!

Yesterday by the way the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra was in Taichung in the sample, and during my concert master carried out the subsequent string-test correction, I received an invitation in order to step in immediately in October ... Let's see ...

Strange, but I have really the feeling of yesteryear back to where I was with the Dutch Youth Choir "de Oosterhoutse night care" on a concert tour. There is really a great sense of community among the dancers, they laugh a lot, everyone knows what he has done and is also judged on it, and everyone enjoys and works of art.

Today is the way in the Chinese calendar the 7th July - Taiwanese Valentine's Day! So today I'm been to the ladies team in the woodwind extra sweet and it did keep in only 19 minutes instead of 20 minutes - but since the accords were then sparkling clean! :-)

Replace Entire Suspension 2000 Caravan

This morning I made a visit to the Chi Mei Museum in Tainan. Andy, the orchestra director, a high official at Chi Mei and along with his daughter Rebecca was so kind to me, he, in addition to his normal job rumzuführen.

Chi Mei is one of the largest since 1959 Kunststofhersteller in the world, with factories in Tainan and in Zhenjiang. The Chi Mei Museum is the existing since 1990, private museum of the Chi Mei Foundation. The very rich collection in this museum is one of 5 categories: West variable artificial (painting, pictures, etc), natural history, weapons, antiques and ... Musical instruments - and all from different eras, and almost every continent! The collection Musical instruments was one of the class - from ancient African instruments up on player pianos (which also played yet) and barrel organs to the most beautiful string instruments!

because at the moment where we had seen most of the museum, I was taken with a mysterious subterranean for a stick. And what I saw in this story was truly unbelievable: a collection of room 450 stringed instruments, of which 350 violins, with including Amati, Stradivarius, Guarneri, Stainer, Guadagnini! What a story present in this room! Then you suddenly with such a Stradivarius in his hand and did not know what to say! The Chi Mei Foundation provides these tools all available to talented Taiwanese strings, for example, Yo Yo Ma - the only thing they have to pay for the insurance. The Foundation is committed for that "good instruments be played by good players and the good music produced Thus be shared by all mankind," according to Mr. Wen-long Shi, president of Chi Mei Culture Foundation. Many members of the Chimei Philharmonic Orchestra play at one of these instruments!

Then I had the last orchestra rehearsal with the orchestra - and in the evening ballet rehearsal, the first in Tainan Theatre. The dancers were all already establishing itself, and Allen worked at TGV speed of his play. I think he was not particularly happy, but we still have a few days. Tomorrow is the first of only two samples together with ballet and orchestra (!) - I hope that all fit in the ditch ... And if not, I turn just one of my Hagen "tricks" to (now I dare to confess first that ...) and then the go on ...!

Below a picture of Andy, Rebecca and the rest of your family in Japan last week. I run the water still in the mouth! ...

Nonverbal Cogat Samples

Free

Today was announced by the conductor-free
:-) - and this day off was spent by me in part to Taipei Main Station (a locker for my baggage to be found - even not so simple!) and partly in the magnificent National Palace Museum. This museum is an art gallery and museum in Taipei, and houses the largest collection of Chinese art of truly invaluable. 5000 years of history of China is shown here, and the gathering in Taipei is even larger than in the Forbidden City in Beijing! Most of these items have been collected in the past of China's ancient emperors.

Then I was back on tour: Tomorrow we will continue to rehearse in Tainan, so it was today announced high-speed rail to the south.

It's unbelievable the way, how fast a man accustomed to anything - it felt even as a matter of fact all even though I'm only a good week here and here on Sunday, the pure madness going on! Today I was way on the road with Eric, a student from Darmstadt, doing an internship in Taipei and stayed in the same hotel. And if we as Europeans already do not speak Chinese, we have at least one prior to the Asians, if you lose each other in a huge number of people (like at a train station) it takes usually not long - because there are not very many people, the larger than 1.60 are! ...
