The new year has made its debut. Just two exciting weeks we are all on the road in 2009. I was already rehearsing in Jena to excellent with the Jena Philharmonic a wonderful "Astronomy" program. I was again briefly in Dessau, where I got to know many new people and where we have advanced a step in season planning. Last Saturday I was then in excellent Rigoletto Hagen to the premiere. And Sunday I then reached a sad report that struck me deeply and made me something thrown from the curve: My grandma was, at the age of 94 years, died.
94 years, a blessed age. had a nice life. sleeping peacefully. What is it that hits me so?
with my grandma, the last one died my grandparents. Grandma gave us all a very special person. Despite her advanced age, the support of our family. Source of inspiration.
to have lived independently after many years, she was in the past few years, nursing home. Always happy, always happy, always grateful, after all what they had to miss, and despite everything that has happened to them in your life. Never from your lips was heard one word of complaint. She was always laughing mood-maker, always on, always proud of us, and often was, in effect, like an old Till Eulenspiegel, to plan a funny prank. Features to run in recent times could not, was almost deaf, and one could hardly understand it, your zest for life was unique. After a visit to Grandma is always returned back with a smile on your face.
My niece Jeannette rewrote it this morning at the church very well. Grandma has tried to teach us all something. is the "be happy in life from the one in your philosophy, what happened, but by the way how to handle it. A smile costs nothing - we should take good care of each other - always give our best - and if you are good to others will you be good at it. "What a great life Motti!
These are all nice effort, but of course not so easy to implement and so light that was not for Grandma. But they tried. And was and is a great source of inspiration for us all.
Thank you, dear grandmother, we will miss you.
