have I seen so last Saturday evening, a great concert ...
Under the Storioni festivals (from 15 to 25 January, http://www.storionifestival.nl/ heard) a concert of truly unique class in Music Centre Frits Philips in Eindhoven. Last year, the trio Storioni (Wouter Vossen and Mark with Bart van de Roer) in the town hall Hagen the Beethoven Triple Concerto interpreted memorable, and we have been the appearance of the brothers gloriösen Vossen Hagen Brahms Double friends. This evening was designed during the last appearance of the trio in Hagen, and therefore wanted to city hall manager Elmar Josten and I must be present at this concert. The trio organized for the third time this festival - your "party" as they call themselves, and they have invited many friends to your music at this attend the big party.
And that was to be seen. What an extraordinarily varied program and what a large number of high-profile young musicians! The star guest was Jean-Yves Thibaudet obliged to include a very nice first Piano Concerto by Mendelssohn played with the Chamber Orchestra of Heilbronn and interpreted together with Bart Fauré's Dolly Suite. do zukurz Without the other to do, were other highlights for me Janne Thomsen on flute in the original concert Yusupov, Hervé Joulain to Horn, who had the hall after 2 minutes of quiet as a mouse, Theo Loevendie, who improvised their own play with the orchestra last, and but not least, the talented trio of himself Storioni that the Martinu Triple Concerto with great zeal interpreted. It was, as Mark put it afterwards, you alsob before a bag was sitting with sweets, and it could cost every 10 minutes something new tasty. What an inspiration! ..
Yesterday it was the trip to Paris. Today I'm starting with the preparation of Cimarosa Matrimonio Segreto with the Atelier Lyrique de l'Opera National. What is a stronghold of culture in this city. Around 160 museums, 200 art galleries, about 100 theaters, more than 650 cinemas and more than 10,000 restaurants. Unbelievable! And can be a great apartment overlooking the Seine then not really go a bit wrong ... Carpe diem!
